I provide a number of baby photography options that can take place in a studio or in the more natural surroundings of your home with plenty of time to relax your baby with feeds and cuddles! Babies have different routines so I work with you to understand the best time of the day to take photographs of your little treasure awake or sleeping. My approach is very relaxed and unrushed to allow natural and spontaneous expressions to come through in the photographs - The results speak for themselves giving the best photographs for you to treasure forever as they become a talking point by all who admire them!
I am based in Harrogate and photo shoots can be studio based or for more natural images the sessions can take place at your home. The 'at home' baby photography option means that I am happy to travel outside the Harrogate area to provide a service to customers in Knaresborough, Wetherby, Leeds, York, Ripon, Otley, Boroughbridge areas and across Yorkshire.

Photo Shoot Details
option 1 - Studio Portraits - This is a 1.5 hour session that covers set portraits of you and your baby as well as a family portrait.
option 2 - At Home or Location Portraits - This photo shoot takes place at your home or suitable location with more colourful and familiar surroundings in the background of the photographs. It covers more natural shots of your baby rather than just the set portraits detailed in option 1. This session takes on more of a lifestyle photography approach that captures more natural moments of your baby including interactions with mum & dad.
About Your Photo Shoot
Your baby photo shoot will be a relaxed experience, resulting in a range of great photographs. During your session I do give direction regarding lighting and positions for the photographs. Before your session we chat about the type and style of images you like and I explain how the shoot works. Babies have different routines so I work with you to understand the best time of the day to take photographs of your little treasure awake or sleeping. My approach is very relaxed and unrushed to allow natural and spontaneous expressions to come through in the photographs.

My baby hasn't arrived yet but I would like some maternity photographs?
Maternity sessions tend to be scheduled for around 34 to 36 weeks (but can be any time you like!) and last around 60 to 90 minutes to enable a range of elegant photographs to be taken. These pregnancy photo sessions can take place using natural light in the relaxed surroundings of your home or in a studio format. Please get in touch if you would like more information.
